Research Associate

I am currently working under supervision of Prof. D. Louis Collins in the Neuro Imaging and Surgical Technologies (NIST) Laboratory. I develop neuronavigation software for intraoperative use and maintain the IbisNeuronav platform.

Prior to joining the NIST lab I did a post-doctoral research fellowship in the Golby Lab at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, under Prof. Alexandra Golby and Prof. Sarah Frisken, working on low-cost neuronavigation solutions. I completed a Ph.D. in the Applied Perception Lab at Concordia University under supervision of Prof. Marta Kersten-Oertel, working on building new augmented reality visualization and interaction techniques to facilitate surgical interventions. My previous experience was in computational geometry, specifically automatic detection of intersection on parametric surfaces, under supervision of Prof. Neil Frederick Stewart at Université de Montréal.
